I have been impressed with the Toyota line of cars even though they took a beating on their safety with the recalls that took place this past year. I own a 2009 Toyota Camry and have had Camry’s in the past and have always been pleased with the performance and quality of Toyota. My wife and I are in the market to upgrade our Honda Odyssey. With three kids under the age of 12 the mini-van still fits our life style and needs as we are shuffling kids between school and soccer practice. We have been reading about some of the great reports on the new Toyota mini-van and went to take a look to see how it compared to our existing vehicle. In our area there are several Car Dealers that carry the Toyota brand so we chose one that was closer to our home that had been recommended by neighbors. Once we got to the dealers showroom the experience was quite pleasant and the salespeople were not overly aggressive and were eager to actually listen to what we needed and not what they wanted to sell us. As we took the car for a test drive we piled everyone into the van and went out on the road.
We have been watching the Toyota family videos for the new Sienna and what my wife and I have seen has been very impressive. Toyota’s social media campaign is a wonderful idea by creating a family that you can follow and relate to about issues that a family will encounter. They are also trying to recreate the image of the minivan to make it more appealing to those that would not normally drive a minivan and have opted for the SUV. We will make our decision this fall once the 2011 models are released and we are able to take our test drive to compare the models.

Up in the NW the deer and elk season will be starting soon which is a blessing for some and a curse for others. I have seen more ads and pages now being shown on how to make money on the internet through blogging. One such email I received touted making thousands each month by putting your blog on auto pilot. The recent value in land where we live in the Pacific NW appears to have dropped and has got me thinking about making a purchase as an investment and then eventually putting a house and barn on the land. Well I guess you need to be careful what you write about. Just after I wrote about the Phishing vs Vishing, I received an email from the Ebay Account abuse team??? They wanted to inform that my account had been compromised, and unusual activity had been reported by bank. They instructed me to click on the link to verify my account within 48 hours, or my account would be closed. And they would have to close any PayPal accounts linked to my eBay account. It was even signed by the VP of eBay abuse report dept. WOW! Of course I did nothing, forwarded to the eBay fraud email address. I did click on the view source for the email, and you could see where the links led to and they were not ebay. Also, the email was cloaked under a gmail.com account. So I sent that over to Google.

As I was creating some online content for our blog, I came across this opportunity to discuss Doll making, and creating dress up games. My 9 year old daughter was nearby and she saw some of the images She was interested because they looked like Bratz dolls. We looked through the examples, and sure enough they had a section on Divas. You are allowed to mix and match different items of clothing and body parts to create your doll Avatar. For kids this is a great way to personalize their IM, and not post their own pic. ( WHich by the way some of daughters friends, actually post their photo) And with the crowd on the internet these days you never know who you are talking too.
Once you have completed the doll you can get the code to place on such sites as MySpace and other chat rooms or IM that allow the creation of your own avatar. For those that own a website and are looking to have new content for your customers, The Doll Palace offers script code to place the doll making function on your own site. You can either create a link or create a whole page dedicated to the creation tool.
They even have holiday and pirate themes to name a few for creating fashion games. My daughter and her friends have created several already and they are now looking to create the coolest one for a contest. It is harmless fun, and helps to emphasize creativity. My wife and I were discussing whether the it was time to look for a new house. There are some additional features that we would love to have, but are not currently available in our current home. With the addition of 3 kids since we moved, in we really need to get some separation space so the kids can have their area as well. So we were thinking, what would be our home improvement project we could do, that would add value, and not have to relocate.
We came up with finishing our basement and upgrading our bathroom with a sunken tub and new master shower.The basement would include a game room for the kids, and a surround sound theater.
The master bath would include a larger sunken tub, that would have the marble backsplash, and the shower would be a walk-in with some of the newer ceramic tiles that actually make them more resistance to bacteria and mildew.
