Posted on 9th March 2010 by admin92 in Health and fitness |Marketing Online
Vimovo is a new consumer health care site that allows you to search and locate health care providers and insurance in your local area. their belief is that the consumer should be more empowered to choose their providers and insurers that will benefit them and their families. Vimo will help to make buynig buying health care and insurance more transparent and more cost effective. Consumers can get objective and comprehensive shopping information for insurance, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), medical procedures, doctors and dentists.
They have made a very user friendly site to be able to search by Zip code for your healthcare provider. You can also compare Health Care Savings Accounts (HSA) in your area to help in your decisions. They also provide a great tool to research and review various Health Care Providers (HCPs) in your area. The Vimo database contains over 650,000 Dr.’s and over 13,000 disciplinary actions. Each report on the HCP will contain, among other things, Board certifications, hospital affiliations, and any disciplinary actions.

Vimo (which thankfully just changed its name from Healthia) is a search tool aiming at allowing consumers to access doctors and insurers, and eventually medical products and services. CEO Chini Krishnan says Vimo is “a comparison shopping site like Lending Tree.” Health IT.com Octrober 9,2006
Can any Blog Make Money?
Posted on 5th March 2010 by admin92 in How to market Online |Marketing Online
The answer is Any Kind! So, the right question should be “what blog can make more money?”
The answer is Well Prepared Blog!
What to prepare? Why not just posting? If you want to just blog and you don’t care things to prepare, maybe you’re not serious about making money from your blog. Otherwise, please read on.
First, I want to say this, “DON’T BLOG unless you know what you’re going to blog!”
By this, I don’t mean only conclusion of you blog. Before you blog, sit back from your keyboard and take a time to answer following 3 questions:
1. About what topic am I going to write? Are many people want to know about that topic?
2. With that topic, what product or link am I gonna introduce?
3. And how am I gonna do that?

InBlog Ads a new way to monetize your blog
Posted on 4th March 2010 by admin92 in Blogging Online |Marketing Online
AdSense, Blog, Blogger, host, Web search engine, WordPress, WordPress.com
Attention all WordPress bloggers: InBlogAds has recenetly launched allowing you to sell the ad space on your blogs. They offer benefits for both advertisers and publishers. If you are an advertiser you get direct html links, which can help drive targeted traffic, while increasing your link. With the context links, they are typically included within the blog, which search engines love and appreciate. You can have your site reviewed by the community of bloggers, and the posts will be up for a minimum of 30 days
For Publishers, the current technology works with WordPress and is currently being tested for free blog sites such as Blogger.com, and WordPress.com. You can control the types of ads and posts that are on your blog, as you approve or deny them to fit your blog content. Each publisher can earn as much as 60% of the ad revenue sold through their blog. Since these are ads are not contextually served, similar to Googles Adsense, the content can be run along side other ads.
Phishing Alert part 2
Posted on 3rd March 2010 by admin92 in Blogging Online |Marketing Online
Well I guess you need to be careful what you write about. Just after I wrote about the Phishing vs Vishing, I received an email from the Ebay Account abuse team??? They wanted to inform that my account had been compromised, and unusual activity had been reported by bank. They instructed me to click on the link to verify my account within 48 hours, or my account would be closed. And they would have to close any PayPal accounts linked to my eBay account. It was even signed by the VP of eBay abuse report dept. WOW! Of course I did nothing, forwarded to the eBay fraud email address. I did click on the view source for the email, and you could see where the links led to and they were not ebay. Also, the email was cloaked under a gmail.com account. So I sent that over to Google.
Parents using tracking software
Posted on 22nd February 2010 by admin92 in Marketing Online
With the explosion of the social networking sites such as MySpace and others, parents need to have an option if they feel their children may be putting themselves in harms way without knowing it. I read an article the other day that talked about a software that is now available that will allow anyone on the web to see the location of any MySpace account. So any predators out there that access this software can now plug in a MySpace account, of a friendly kid they chat with online and use their MySpace account to find out their location.
Using tracking software such that is available from companies such as SpectorSoft
tracking software, parents can now be able to follow the actions of their kids while helping to block access to certain sites. Their software offers such features such as:
Records Emails
Chats, IMs
Web Sites
Programs Run
Keystrokes Typed
Peer to Peer File Sharing
Now to those who ask why should parents act like Big brother and is there a privacy concerns or the rights of the kids. As my Dad always said ” while you are in my house, you follow my rules” As our kids become more sophisticated and spend more time on the internet, parents needs to be able to have tools that will alert them to activities, that I believe are not meant to invade their privacy, but protect them from unknown strangers with bad intentions. Spector Soft even has a tracking software (called eBlaster) that will email all of the recordings directly to your email address. This is especially nice, since you can have all the tools and safeguards in place, but if you are unable to access the information in a timely fashion it is useless.
I look at those series that Dateline NBC has been running where these grown men are showing up at girls houses, expecting to meet an underage person. It is quite troubling knowing that these guys are out there in every part of the country.
The death of Adsense?
Posted on 17th February 2010 by admin92 in Marketing Online
I started using Adsense about a year ago on one of our main traffic sites. It took about 6 months to start seeing an kind of CTR and actual dollars. Funny thing is that once we started getting closer to the $100 thresh hold, we got a nice letter from Google stating that our account was being monitored, and there could be possible account closures. We actually hit the $100 payout and were awaiting our check, when 2 days before the payment was to be made, Google closed our account with the standard email, that because of reasons that they cannot explain, they had to terminate our account. I understand this has happened to quite a few people.
So the model as it stands is not very lucrative for small website owners.. The new model challenges the Adsense model for bloggers, in that you actually get paid for your hared work, and you know rather quickly if you meet the advertisers needs. I am all in with Pay Per Post, and hope to see them expand and widen their advertiser list. The reponse has been awesome, and the future looks very bright.
So you have a website, now how to get visitors?
Posted on 3rd February 2010 by admin92 in Marketing Online
We actually own several websites that help provide free visitors to your new website. These are commonly referred to as traffic exchanges. This is where a person will be spend anywhere from 15-30 seconds viewing your sites, in exchange they receive credits for other to review their sites. Our major Exchange is www.traffexone.com. It is free to join, and we average about 230K page view per months. Check us out and let us know what you think.
We are going to use a new tool we just found called www.trailfire.com to create a trail of traffic exchanges for our viewers to check out.
Tips on starting a small business
Posted on 20th January 2010 by admin92 in B2B |Marketing Online
1. Take the time out to explore and understand whether or not you are compatible with running our own business. Some people are just plain happier and better off financially on the other end of the paycheck.
2.Get your personal finances in order. Before you jump into the entrepreneurship world, get your own money matters squared away.
3. Pick your niche. Many small business owners succeed in businesses that are hardly unique or innovative. Take stock of your skills, interests, and employment history to select the business that is best suited for you.
To scrub or not to scrub
Posted on 8th January 2010 by admin92 in Marketing Online |Medical
No office or hospital nurse would be complete without the scrubs. It used to be they came in a handful of colors. Now they come in a range of different patterns, and colors. This is especially great for the specialty nurse, in need of medical uniforms, as the some patients seem to respond better. There is a theory of what is commonly called ” White Coat Hypertension” This is when a patient visits a Dr., they come in their White Coat and the patients blood pressure, rises due the to the fact they are worried what the Dr. might tell them bad news. For those in the medical professional, different colored scrubs, especially in Pediatrics, it can be a great distraction for the child who is in the patient waiting room
Can click fraud be prevented?
Posted on 5th December 2009 by admin92 in Marketing Online
I have read several articles lately on the rise of click fraud. This generally happens when people with no intent to purchase a product or service click on ads listed in a site. There have been reports that companies will click on their competitiors ads to drive up their marketing costs. Google, just settled a lawsuit in the South, pertaining to Click Fraud. As the internet continues to grow and reach more people, using PPC will become more competitve, and better systems will be need to be in place to protect the advertiser.
